DAVID REED<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is very sad to advise that David passed away last Thursday 8th January 2026. Dear David joined us in 2023 following the closure of Riverside Bowls Club. He was a very keen bowler and played regularly in the Tuesday Triples and Sevenoaks Leagues. Details of the funeral arrangements will be passed to you all directly they are available. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

JUNE LAY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I very much regret to advise that dear June Lay passed away on 15th December 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

June joined the Club in 2013 and played regularly up to last year 2024 and was a Fixture Secretary in recent years. She loved her bowls competitions, matches and of course helped Frank with the many Bowls Tours that he arranged. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funeral will take place at Tunbridge Wells Crematorium at 2.30pm on Friday 23rd January 2026 followed by a gathering at AIBC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CLIFF KELLY<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

IT IS WITH VERY MUCH REGRET THAT I ADVISE THAT OUR OLDEST BOWLING MEMBER, CLIFF KELLY, PASSED AWAY ON THE 29th SEPTEMBER 2025, AT ST THOMAS\u2019S HOSPITAL.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cliff has been a member for thirty years and really enjoyed the bowling, social and community friendly aspects of TBC. Directly we receive any information of the funeral arrangements I will advise all members.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cliff Kelly<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is with great sadness that we learned yesterday that Cliff has died, during a heart operation at St. Thomas\u2019s Hospital.  He had suffered a heart attack last Monday evening, 22nd<\/sup> September.  Following being admitted to Ashford Hospital he was moved to St. Thomas\u2019s.  He kept in touch with his close friends through Darren, his son.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was always a brave man and he knew that there was a 20% chance of his not surviving the operation.  At 96 years old it is testament to his fitness and outlook on life that they considered doing this operation.  What a man.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone knew Cliff and enjoyed his chat and sense of humour.  He will be a huge miss at the club, and we won\u2019t forget him.  We know he really appreciated the camaraderie and warm friendship he found at the club, especially after he lost his wife Jean. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PASSED AWAY ON TUESDAY 16th SEPTEMBER 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The funeral has been arranged at the<\/strong> Tunbridge Wells Crematorium on <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thursday 9th October at 11.30pm followed by a gathering at the Angel IBC.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
